Adding your team

Inviting people, what a seat is, and what happens when you hit the limit.

Inviting someone

1Go to Team.
2Add the person's name, email and role.
3They get an email with a link to set their own password.

What counts as a seat

Anyone who can log in uses a seat, including subcontractors with their own login. Starter includes 3, Growth 6 and Pro 15.

Going over the limit

You are not pushed onto a bigger plan. Every plan sells extra seats at $5 a month each, so a fourth person on Starter costs $5, not a plan change.

Someone who has left

Deactivate them rather than deleting them — their job history and time records stay intact. A deactivated person does not use a seat. Switching them back on later does need a free seat.
